Client Payments

Secure payment information for existing clients and persons who have received written payment instructions from the firm.

Before making a payment

Do not use a payment page to hire the firm or request representation. Make a payment only if you are an existing client or the firm has sent you written payment instructions identifying the amount and purpose of the payment.

Pay an existing invoice or operating-account obligation

The secure LawPay link below submits funds to the firm’s operating account. Use it only to pay an existing invoice, earned legal fees, reimbursable expenses, or another amount that the firm has specifically instructed you to pay to the operating account.

Do not use this operating-account link for an advance fee, unearned retainer, trust deposit, settlement proceeds, escrowed funds, or other client or third-party funds unless the firm has given you specific written instructions that this is the correct payment page.

Selecting the payment button opens the firm’s secure LawPay payment page. You may also call (404) 451-3299 for payment instructions.

Do not send credit-card, bank-account, or other sensitive payment information by ordinary email or through the website contact page.

Important payment notices

  • A payment by itself does not create an attorney-client relationship, obligate the firm to accept a matter, or confirm that the firm represents the person making the payment.
  • An attorney-client relationship begins only after conflicts are cleared and the firm and client enter into a written engagement agreement.
  • A payment does not extend or suspend any filing, hearing, appeal, response, limitation, or other deadline.
  • Do not submit an advance fee, retainer, trust deposit, settlement payment, filing cost, or payment for another person unless the firm has provided written instructions.
  • The firm may reject or return an unauthorized, mistaken, or misdirected payment.
  • Do not place confidential facts or legal advice requests in payment-description fields.
